THIS IS NOT FREEWILLers’ LINGO:
PAUL, IN (2) TIMOTHY CHAPTER ONE, VERSE NINE
SAYS —
…God, Who saves us and calls us with a holy calling, not in accord with our acts, but in accord with His own purpose and the grace which is given to us in Christ Jesus before times eonian,
POINT ONE:
HE SAVES US… “NOT IN ACCORD WITH OUR ACTS“ —
not in accord with our freewill decision and freewill response.
POINT TWO:
HE SAVES US… IN ACCORD WITH HIS OWN PURPOSE —
he does not save us based on our own purpose created by our freewill…
but instead, based on HIS PURPOSE.
POINT THREE:
HE SAVES US… WITH… THE GRACE GIVEN TO US … BEFORE TIMES EONIAN. —
…before time, as we know it, began,
…before we were born,
…before we did anything good or bad,
…before we used our precious little ‘freewill’.
It was GRACE (the favor shown to those who don’t deserved it all all) given to us, before time.
THIS VERSE… (2) TIM 1:9 IS ONE OF THOSE “HOLY SMOKE” VERSES… YOU READ IT AND SAY “WOW.”
“…God, Who saves us and calls us with a holy calling, not in accord with our acts, but in accord with His own purpose and the grace which is given to us in Christ Jesus before times eonian,”
