Jesus Must Redeem All or His Name is Mud.

In the Old Testament, the kinsman redeemer MUST redeem his kin, if his kin gets in trouble.
The trouble could be deep debt or finding oneself enslaved.
If the nearest kin does not redeem his kin, his name is to be blacked out from the lineage.
See the story of Ruth and Boaz.
Ruth’s husband died and she needed to be redeemed by her kin. And the nearest kin turned down the offer and he was called SO AND SO from then on in the Bible. No name.
Boaz was the next in line. And he accepted the responsibility and redeemed Ruth from her troubled situation.
Now, look at Christ.
Colossians 1:15… Christ is the firstborn of every creature.
So who… pray tell.. would be in a better position to redeem all creation than Christ?
So, if Christ does not redeem all creation, HIS NAME IS MUD.
Now look at I Timothy 2:6:
He gave Himself a correspondent Ransom for ALL. (the testimony in it’s own eras).
Now look at Philippians chapter two:
9 Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name,
10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean,
11 and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father.

And guess what… you cannot refuse to be redeemed by the kinsman redeemer. Even if you’re a slave… and your redeemer redeems you, your slavery is over. No questions.

So..
Christ is the firstborn of all creation…
and
He gives Himself as a correspondent ransom…
and
God graces Him with a name above every name.

Face it bucky, your slavery is over.
