Freewill DENIES Divine causality.
Freewill says God does not CAUSE one to have faith, God does not “force” anyone to believe.
Freewill denies prophecy and “foreknown” events.
How can you say man has a “freewill” but yet you know what man will do?
If you can have prophecy, there MUST be known causal factors.
The freewiller says man can avoid hell and go to heaven, but God will not “cause” man’s decision/belief, etc.
The freewiller says that “going to hell” is unnecessary. Avoidable.
Therefore, the teaching of “freewill” could be called “the doctrine of unnecessary and avoidable action and events.”
Freewillers hate these verses:
All is out of God, through God and for God.
God is operating all things after the council of his will.
For to vanity was the creation subjected, not voluntarily, but because of Him Who subjects it, in expectation
For, not as yet being born, nor putting into practice anything good or bad, that the purpose of God may be remaining as a choice, not out of acts, but of Him Who is calling,
You will be protesting to me, then, “Why, then, is He still blaming? for who has withstood His intention?”
…it is not of him who is willing, nor of him who is racing, but of God, the Merciful.
