Especially The Vellums.

2 TIMOTHY 4:13

“When you come, bring the traveling cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, and the scrolls, especially the vellums.”

Now answer this question…

Did Paul ONLY want the vellums? Or did he want all the scrolls? And his traveling cloak?

Doesn’t this verse indicate he had a special purpose for the vellums?

Vellums – are blank scrolls.

Obviously Paul wanted to write some more letters, huh?

Again… verse 13: When you come, bring the traveling cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, and the scrolls, especially the vellums.

So, can we agree on this? That the word ESPECIALLY indicates he had put temporary emphasis on the vellums, but wanted all the scrolls and his traveling cloak???? Just thinkin’.

Now consider I Timothy 4:10:

“God is the savior of all mankind, especially of believers.”
